Tuesday evening was the 125th opening night for the Boston Pops. I was already excited to go to the Pops, but was really, really excited to meet Chef Duff from Ace of Cakes! The concert was great overall with classic John Williams pieces, Idina Menzel, Doc Severinsen, and a Beatles sing along! Each night at Pops there's a surprise celebrity who conducts "Stars and Stripes Forever" and for opening night it was Chef Duff! I was so excited, the audience loved his technique, and I can't wait to see the episode on Food Network. Michael and I even got to have cake afterwards backstage and in the words of Rachael Ray, "Yum-o."
